WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN CHURCH!  Sunday school starts the morning at 9:00am with worship at 10:00 AM.  If you have been visiting and worshipping with us here at Resurrection and are interested in becoming a part of our faith community, please speak with the pastor. Coffee fellowship follows the service.

WE CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!  What’s important to you is important to us.  Requests are handled with the utmost sincerity and respect.   A Sunday morning prayer sheet is on the sign up counter. YMT PLANT SALE STARTS TODAY– Fellowship hall.  Fundraiser for YMT. Please support.

WEDNESDAY LENT SOUP SUPPERS. Soup Suppers will begin at 6pm with Holden Evening Prayer services following at 7pm.  Sign up in the narthex bulletin area to bring a soup, bread or dessert.

EASTER VIGIL & HOLY WEEK - Sign up sheets are in the narthex bulletin area. We will need readers for Easter Vigil readings and a copy to practice is in the folder at sign up table.

LENT GOOD GIFTS TREE- Select an ornament. Write your name on the back and return the ornament to the basket under the green wire tree displayed in the narthex.  Pay for your ornament with a check to RLC with “good gifts” on the memo line or use a pew envelop.  After Easter, your gifts will be sent to ELCA Good Gifts to support work in 83 countries.  Your gift will be entered as a record of giving at RLC.

ALTAR GUILD SELLING KNIVES – An order form and catalog are available in the narthex communication shelf. See a member if you have any additional questions.

RLC COTTAGE MEETING RESPONSES INSERT- Council is currently reviewing the cottage meeting responses from both adults and youth.  The first installment is in your bulletin today.

NATIONAL INTELLECTUAL & DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY AWARENESS MONTH - The Kingdom of God is not just a future reality; we shape it every day. Standing with the poor, with the stranger, with those who are different – each of those actions builds the kingdom. During March, National Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, you can learn how simple actions – like an email or a phone call – can help bring justice for people with disabilities. Become an advocate at www.mosaicalliedvoices.org.

EASTER FLOWER ORDERS- Altar Guild will be taking orders for two different flowering plants (Azaleas and Hydrangeas)to adorn the sanctuary for Easter.  Cost is $12.50 each.  After Easter celebration service, you can take home and plant in your yard.  Make checks out to RLC, memo line Easter Plant.

SUMMER CAMP- SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE – CHEAPER IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE APRIL 1st. If you plan to send your child/children, please, check the schedule and pre-enroll.  An early bird deduction of $50 per child for enrollments before April 1st and $20 per child, if there is more than one child from a family. Fees for 2018 are $355 for the full 5-day sessions and $200 for the 3-day. WELCA will again offer scholarships of $200 toward the $355 and $100 toward the $200 fees. If you have questions, please, see Evelyn Clark.  Remember, enrolling before April 1st will save you $50 per child.

LIFELINE SCREENING APRIL 19th.  A community-based preventive health screening, will offer their affordable, non-invasive and painless health screening at RLC.  Five screenings will be offered that scan for potential health problems. MYSTERY DINNER THEATER- APR 14th 6pm.  National Youth Gathering Fundraiser.  Mark your calendar for “Moolah Mystery Dinner.” $10 each/ $5 for kids 10 & under.  Contact Loretta for tickets.

YMT OVERNIGHTER – APR 20th at SLEEP INN For 3rd thru 5th graders.  Mark your calendars.  More info to come.

COOKIES NEEDED FOR PALM SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE - Apr 25th.  RLC will be hosting the community palm Sunday Service at 6pm and we will need to supply refreshments. Sign up sheet in the narthex.

60th ANNIVERSARY OF RLC - MAY 5, 2019   We will be celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Resurrection Lutheran Church.  If you would like to be part of the planning committee, please see Pastor Elizabeth or Evelyn Clark.

OutbackDinner & Silent Auction Fundraiser
April 19 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Where can you get a delicious GRILLED steak and chicken dinner while contributing to the update of the community breakfast kitchen at St. Paul’s Lutheran?   Right here!  Buy your tickets before or after church services in the narthex (cash or check) or buy them online at http://www.stpauls-wichita.org/ for a scrumptious dinner grilled by OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE!

Donations of cash or items for the silent auction are absolutely welcome!

The Community Breakfast at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, near downtown Wichita, welcomes 150-200 people who are homeless, struggling, and hungry in our community to enjoy a hearty meal on Saturdays. Your help will make a difference.
