WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN! We welcome all who worship with us! Service is held on Sunday morning at 9:00am during the summer. Coffee fellowship follows the service so please come and join us. Watch the bulletin and narthex communications board for information, meetings and events. Next Sunday, it is Rally Day…Fall schedule will start with Sunday school at 9am and Service at 10am.
FUNERAL FOR LEO DOLL – Will be held on Monday, Sept 3rd at 10:00 AM. We offer prayers for his family and friends during this time, may he rest in peace.
CHOIR PRACTICE – Come and join the choir! Every Thursday night starting on Sept 6th, we have choir practice at 6:30 in the sanctuary.
SEPT 9TH ‘RALLY DAY!” Church service will start at 10am with Sunday School at 9am. Fellowship will follow with a BBQ hosted by the Property Committee for congregational appreciation. Come and enjoy!
FIRST BIBLE CLASS - SIGN UP TIME We need to know if your child is ready to receive their first Bible. Classes will be Sept 4th, 11th, 17th, and 25th at 6pm for child and adult. Bible presentation will be during worship on Sept. 30th. Sign-up sheet is in the narthex hallway.
SEPT 19th FAITH NIGHT starts at 5:45-8pm for 3rd - 12th graders. This year the youth will begin The Story Curriculum by Randy Frazee. Postcards with the meeting dates are in the narthex.
SEPT 22nd - 2018 CAMP TOMAH SHINGA QUILT AUCTION Quilts will be auctioned from 10am-2pm with a provided lunch break in the middle. Games for the littles! Proceeds will go toward camp scholarships. Camp is located at 7821 E. Lyons Creek Rd, Junction City, KS 66441 www.tomahshinga.com.
CLEARWATER FESTIVAL RLC BOOTH – Our church will have a booth on Sat Sept 29th. We need some volunteers to hand out pamphlets and represent our congregation. Sign Up Sheet is on the narthex shelf.
PEANUT BUTTER DRIVE FOR CROPWALK ALL SEPTEMBER During the month of Sept, we will be collecting peanut butter donations to help with “Ending Hunger-One Step at a Time Crop Hunger Walk.”
The 2017 Wichita Crop Walk will be on OCT 7th, starting at 2pm at Sedgwick County Park, check-in is at 1pm. You can choose to walk 3.46 miles or 1.86 mile distance. https://www.crophungerwalk.org/wichitaks. Let’s stop hunger and support our local community too.
ALTAR GUILD FUNDRAISERS Order forms and catalog are available to order quality knives. See a member if you have any questions.
Purchase a $30 Tillies monthly flower card and you can pick up fresh flowers at no cost every month for a year. See Karen Vogt or Lydia Evans.
WE CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! What’s important to you is important to us. Requests are handled with the utmost sincerity and respect. A Sunday morning prayer sheet is on the sign up counter.
