FALL HAS STARTED AT RESURRECTION LUTHERAN! We welcome all who worship with us. Sunday school starts the morning at 9:00 AM with worship at 10:00 AM. Coffee fellowship follows the service so please come and join us. Watch the bulletin, Friday announcement emails and narthex communications board for information, meetings and events.
We welcome Pastor Larry Cross this Sunday as Pastor Elizabeth is out of town.
CHOIR PRACTICE – Come and join the choir! Every Thursday night, we have choir practice at 6:30 in the sanctuary.
WORLD HUNGER AWARENESS MONTH – In November, we will focus on world hunger.
ALTAR GUILD TABLE AFTER SERVICE - This Sunday Nov 25th after service, come by and visit for great Christmas gift ideas from Altar Guild. The wonderful Rada Cutlery knives will be available to order thru the end of Dec and don’t forget to purchase a $30 Tillies monthly flower card and you can pick up fresh flowers at no cost every month for a year.

YMT BIRTHDAY BINGO DEC. 1st from 1-4pm. - Come join us for an afternoon of fun – Celebrating your Birthday (with cake, of course) and playing BINGO - Invite your friends and neighbors to this FUN event!! There will be 10 bingo games with no less than 5 winners per game – which means over 50 prizes for you to win! All this fun for only $5 per pack of cards. We will also have Popcorn, Nachos and Sodas for sale, to help keep your strength up!! Mark your calendars for this fun afternoon!! See Pam for more information.
CITY OF HAYSVILLE CHRISTMAS LIGHTING DEC 1st - It has become tradition for the City of Haysville to start with a prayer and we are proud that Pastor Elizabeth is leading it at Pride Park which is the fountain at Grand Ave & Main Street. Starts at 5:30 PM.
ANNUAL MEETING - DEC 2nd The purpose of the meeting is to approve the 2019 budget and elect council members. Congregational Packet and biographies of the four people running for council is available on the narthex shelf for you to take and review before the meeting.

CHRISTMAS CHURCH DECORATING - DEC 3rd 6:30 PM Please come help us make the church look lovely for Christmas with hanging of the greens.
POINSETTIA SIGN UP - We receive lovely poinsettias from Dutch’s Greenhouse for the Christmas season. If you would like to donate for the cost in memory of a loved one, an order form is in the Narthex. Price is up just a bit $13.05 for a 5” plant. Deadline for orders is Sunday, Dec. 2nd.
Dutch's Greenhouse 2018 Christmas Open House is this weekend Nov 23rd (8:00 AM-5:30 PM) & 24th (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). There will be homemade Christmas treats and hot beverages for you to enjoy as you shop and see the poinsettias in bloom. Located: 5043 S. Seneca, Wichita, KS.
DEC 2nd BOOK STUDY - The Adult Coffee and Conversation class that meets on Sunday mornings will begin a book study of Tish Warren's "Liturgy of the Ordinary" beginning Dec 2. Please come ready to discuss chapter 1. The book can be found on Amazon and at Barnes and Noble.
REMINDER: FUNDRAISER INTENT FORMS DUE DEC 5th. All church organizations who plan to have a fundraiser in 2019 need to submit an intent form by Dec. 5th so it will be reviewed by council. Copies available on narthex hallway shelf.
SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM – Dec. 9th at 6pm “Incredible Christmas” & Preschool program. Everyone who wishes to be in the program must be attending Sunday School. Reception following.
DEC 9th NATIVITY DISPLAY -Everyone is invited to bring & set up a nativity set for display in the narthex.
CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE - Due by Dec. 9th. Haysville Community Outreach. In the Narthex, take a tag to give a gift. Your generosity will provide a happy Christmas for a needy child. Attach tag to unwrapped gift.
If anyone is interested in volunteering at West Haysville Baptist Church for this ministry, Here are the dates: Dec. 10th – 6:30 PM sort gifts, Dec 12th - 5:30 PM pack food, Dec 13th - 6:30 PM wrap gifts & Dec 15th – 9:00 AM Distribute gifts.
BLUE CHRISTMAS - Christmas time isn’t always a joyous time for those who are grieving or who have lost a loved one. We invite you to a blue Christmas service on Dec. 13th at 11:00 AM with soup lunch to follow.
COOKIE EXCHANGE AT RLC- DEC 15th at 10:30 AM…Do you have a favorite Christmas cookie and end up with too many for Christmas? Bring a dozen or two cookies to exchange for a variety to take home.

Update on the “Welcome To The Table” Campaign for St. Paul’s Kitchen.
Dear fellow members in Christ: The team is very excited to report that to date over $76,000 has been raised through your generous giving and hard work. And now, the team has agreed that it is time to transition from fund raising into the actual remodeling phase. The amount raised will provide for significant improvements to the kitchen’s capability and efficiency in providing meals to the homeless and programs that St. Paul’s and other Area 5 churches support. Thank you for your support and contributions!
