WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN! He is risen Alleluia! We welcome all who worship with us! Service is held on Sunday morning at 9:00 am during the summer. Coffee fellowship follows the service so please come and join us. Watch the bulletin and narthex communications board for information, meetings and events.
MEMORIAL DAY MAY 27th The office will be closed on Monday.
SUMMER SCHEDULE HAS STARTED! Service starts at 9:00 am. No Sunday school during the summer. VBS is the week of July 15th - 19th in the evenings.
WE WELCOME OUR NEW PIANIST- ANDREA MENDOZA!
ANNUAL WELCA MAY BOOK SALE Book sales will continue thru May. This is the time to get rid of paperbacks, hardbacks, DVDs, VHSs, games, puzzles, good magazines, posters. Nothing is priced but you take what you want and make a contribution to WELCA. Bring items during the week before 1:00 pm Mon-Friday. "New" items are added each week. Put your donations on a table at the back of the fellowship hall and they will be put out for display. Envelopes for contributions will be placed on the tables. Thank you to all who supported the bake sale last weekend!
MEMORIAL BRICK ORDERS -DUE TODAY MAY 26th If you would like to have a brick engraved for the memory of a deceased loved one, please have a form completed by May 26th. The cost of the engraved brick is $30. Forms available on narthex shelf or contact a Property Committee member.
SIGN UP FOR SERVING – Check your calendars to help serve on Sundays. List is in the narthex hall. Last day is today -May 26th.
LITTLE RED WAGON - Help us collect
food to feed the hungry by bringing can or boxed food so we can help our
community.
SUMMER LUNCH WITH THE PASTOR – The last Wednesday during the summer months May 29th, June 26th, July 31st, Aug 28th at 12:30pm. Sign up in the Narthex Hall to go have lunch with the pastor. This month, lunch is at the The Easy Egg in Haysville.

SCRAPBOOKING – Mark your calendar for June 15th from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. Breakfast provided. Come join us!
JULY 4th HAYSVILLE PARADE - It will be here before we know it. Anyone interested in helping with our RLC trailer decoration and walking in the parade, contact Bill Sample. We will be collecting candy!

WOMEN OF THE ELCA CONVENTION The theme of this year’s Central States Synod Women of the ELCA Convention is “You are Wonderfully Made” based on Psalm 139:14. The theme song is “Sanctuary.” The convention will be August 16th – 18th at the Holiday Inn East on Kellogg and Rock Rd.
FAMILY PROMISE OF GREATER WICHITA unites hearts and hands to provide compassionate hospitality and empower homeless families with children to achieve sustainable independence. We are collecting well needed items:
• Women’s bottoms (pants, nice jeans, skirts) for work -- S or M
• Pillows - We received a few but could use some more
• Cough, cold, & allergy medicine for adults & kids
• Toilet paper
