WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN! We welcome all who worship with us! Service is held on Sunday morning at 9:00 am during the summer. Coffee fellowship follows the service so please come and join us. Watch the bulletin and narthex communications board for information, meetings and events.
SUMMER SCHEDULE HAS STARTED! Service starts at 9:00 am. No Sunday school during the summer. VBS is the week of July 15th - 19th in the evenings.
SUMMER LUNCH WITH THE PASTOR – The last Wednesday during the summer months May 29th, June 26th, July 31st, Aug 28th at 12:30pm. Sign up in the Narthex Hall to go have lunch with the pastor. This month, lunch is at La Pasadita Mexican Restaurant in Haysville.
LITTLE RED WAGON - Help us collect
food to feed the hungry by bringing can or boxed food so we can help our
community.
GOOD WISHES FOR OUR KIDS GOING TO SUMMER CAMP! May our campers be safe and have a great time this summer at Camp Tomah Shinga.
SIGN & FLOOR UPDATE: We are over half way there for our fundraiser on the new flooring we need. Check out our thermometer levels posted on our communications board. We are $5,000 away from halfway point for our LED church sign. It’s looking up!!
USED GLASSES - We are collecting eyeglasses for LIONS INTERNATIONAL and will take them to the WELCA convention in August.
JULY 4th HAYSVILLE
PARADE-
It will be here before we know it. We need to know who will be participating
in the parade this year. Please sign up on sheet in narthex hallway. Anyone
interested in helping with our RLC trailer decoration and walking in the
parade, contact Bill Sample.
We are collecting candy!
WOMEN OF THE ELCA CONVENTION AUGUST 16th – 18th The theme of this year’s Central States Synod Women of the ELCA Convention is “You are Wonderfully Made” The convention will be at the Holiday Inn East on Kellogg and Rock Rd. If you plan to attend, we ask that you bring a much needed item for MOSAIC – A Faith based organization who helps people with intellectual disabilities. Items include: paper products, cleaning supplies, Clorox wipes, windex, Lysol…also much needed personal hygiene items.
JULY 20th MARKS THE 50th ANNIVERSARY OF HOLY COMMUNION ON THE MOON! To celebrate there will be a cosmic communion service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wichita, KS at noon.
WE CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! What’s important to you is important to us. Requests are handled with the utmost sincerity and respect. A Sunday morning prayer sheet is on the sign up counter.
