WELCOME
TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN CHURCH! We
welcome all who worship with us! Service is held on Sunday morning at
9:00am during the summer. Watch the bulletin and narthex communications
board for information, meetings and events. Council continues to monitor the
health recommendations and still offer in-person plus virtual worship each

MASKS ARE OPTIONAL. Decision was made by the
COVID TEAM on August 18th. Hand sanitizer will be available
for your use.
We ask that you place ELW HYMNAL BOOKS under chair in front of you.
SANDWICH SATURDAY AUG 28th. Please come help us make sandwiches in the morning for the hungry. Gather at the church at 9:00am to assemble 200 PB&J sack lunches for distribution downtown that afternoon. We want to thank Pam Porsch for many years of leading in this ministry and we welcome Jen Knaak as our new coordinator & contact.
NURSERY IS OPEN FOR CHILDREN 5 & UNDER WHO HAVE NOT STARTED KINDERGARTEN Our nursery attendant is available if needed during Sunday service. We are disinfecting with vital oxide spray after use.
SEPT 12 – GOD’s WORK OUR HANDS PROJECT – VETERANS ADMINISTRATION –SUBSTANCE ABUSE RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION TREATMENT FACILITY is a new building getting ready to open. Please stay following the Sunday Service on Sept 12th to assemble packets for those entering the treatment facility.
RENAMING THE VA CHAPEL CELEBRATION SEPT 20th at 10AM
An event to welcome Chaplain Kapaun home along with all who have served in overseas Operations: Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Naming the RJ Dole VA Chapel as the Chaplain Emil Kapaun Welcome Home Chapel. THE 2022 ELCA YOUTH GATHERING will be held July 24-28, 2022, in Minneapolis, MN with the two pre-events, the Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE) and the table, scheduled for July 21-24, 2022. Every three years, 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through days spent in interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service and fellowship, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives.
