WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN!  SUMMER WORSHIP IS AT 9:00AM!  We welcome all who worship with us!  Service is held on Sunday mornings at 9:00am during the summer with Adult Forum at 8am.  Watch the bulletin and narthex communications board for information, meetings and events.  Confirmation classes are finished until fall and there is no Sunday School during the summer.

THANK YOU PASTOR TOM SCHAFFER FOR BEING HERE TODAY.  We pray for Pastor Dave and his wife Mary to get well soon.

GOD’S WORK OUR HANDS PROJECT 2024:  RLC Council approved our service project.  We are collecting baby wipes & diapers sizes 5-6 & any size pull-ups for the Haysville Community Diaper Pantry. A box is in the narthex.  Thank you!!

AUG 24^th SANDWICH SATURDAY 9:30AM We will gather at the church at 9:30am to assemble 100 PB&J sack lunches.

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES – Clear instructions are now available on the bulletin board shelf.  When you sign up to volunteer at RLC, you will be emailed at the beginning of the month a copy so you can review.

RALLY DAY! – SUNDAY SCHOOL STARTS AT 9:00AM!  DO YOU HAVE A CHILD THAT WILL BE ATTENDING SUNDAY SCHOOL?

ALTAR GUILD WILL MEET SEPT 9^th AT 6:30pm.  Start off the school year being a part of Altar Guild! All men & women of RLC are welcome!!  We need members!

WELLNESS WEDNESDAY STARTS SEPT 11^th AT 5:30PM WITH POTLUCK DINNER Pastor Dave will lead us every Wednesday evening as he focuses on being well for others. We will have a speaker!  Spiritual gratefulness is our guide.  Everyone is invited to attend and are welcome to bring some food to share.  We are calling it “Wellness Wednesdays!”

2024 HUNGER CROPWALK OCT 6^TH No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the Wichita CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We're part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.

Please join in us in the fight against hunger. The steps we take and funds we raise will make a difference in the lives of others.  Barry Schroeder is our RLC team leader.  Register online and join him to walk at Sedgwick County Park.  Check 1:00 at Horseshoe Shelter and walk starts at 2:00pm.  https://events.crophungerwalk.org/cropwalks/team/resurrection-lutheran-church

COLLECTING PEANUT BUTTER EARLY CROP Walk is Oct 6^th. Peanut butter is collected and donated - any size to assist the work of the Wichita CROP Hunger Walk local recipients. The jars are brought to the walk and turned in that day.  Watch for sales!  

ISSUES OR CONCERNS? COUNCIL HAS CREATED A TIME FOR YOU.  The RLC Council will now have a dedicated block of time, at the beginning of the monthly meeting.  If you’d like to schedule a time please reach out to President of Council: Rhonda Doll at randrdoll@gmail.com or (620)491-2271.

WE CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!  What’s important to you is important to us.  Requests are handled with the utmost sincerity and respect.  A Sunday morning prayer sheet is on the sign up counter.
