WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN CHURCH!  SUNDAY WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION AT 10:00AM!
Our Sunday mornings start with Sunday School for kids & adults at 9:00AM in Fellowship Hall.  Coffee fellowship & refreshments follow our 10:00 Sunday Morning service.  Watch the bulletin for information, meetings and events. IT IS MAY!  CHECK TO SEE IF YOU ARE SERVING THIS MONTH.  LIST IS ON THE BULLETIN BOARD & SENT OUT WEEKLY IN YOUR EMAIL.  We depend on your help so please make a point to be here and if you can not, then it is your responsibility to find a sub and let office know.

WEEKLY PRAYERS are being offered for a variety of professions. This week we focus on prayers for all caretakers.

MAY 6^th - WEDNESDAYS WE ARE WATCHING “THE CHOSEN”
Starting with potluck at 6pm. Program starts at 6:30pm.  The series chronicles the life and ministry of Jesus, focusing on his interactions with people in 1^st century Galilee and Judea. Award winning production so come join us!  Invite a friend.  Prayer service follows.  The public is welcome so bring a friend or invite someone to come.

CHURCH BULLETINS & ANNOUNCEMENTS –Remember to leave Sunday Service booklets so we can reuse next week but please take home the announcements that are printed inside the colorful bulletin covers we use for readings.  Pastor is asking folks to start bringing their bibles for the readings.

COMMITTEE 2025 YEAR END REPORTS ARE DUE. Please turn in yours now. Still needing WELCA, Property, YMT, NYG reports for 2025.

MAY 4^th –  ALTAR GUILD MEETING 10:30AM

MAY 5^th –  LUNCH WITH PASTOR will be on the first Tuesday of the month - starting May 5^th at noon.  Restaurant this first time will be at Excaret Mexican Restaurant 424 W. Grand Ave, Haysville, KS.  Perfect for Cinco de Mayo!

MAY 7^th –  MAYOR’S PRAYER BREAKFAST 7:00AM You can buy a ticket from the office.  Cost is $12.  It will be at Haysville Activity Center.  Tickets can also be purchased at City Hall.  HMA sponsored event.

MAY 10^th –  Last Day of Sunday School before summer.
                     Adult Forum now called Faith Forum will continue at 9AM in the Fellowship Hall.

MAY 12^th -  WELCA meets at 10AM
                     COUNCIL MTG AT 6:30PM MONTHLY 2nd TUESDAY NOW.

MAY 17^th –  RLC GRADUATES RECOGNITION DURING SERVICE.
                     We have 7 high school grads & 3 college grads.
                     Congrats to all of them.

MAY 24^th -  DAY OF PENTECOST.  REMEMBER TO WEAR RED.

JUNE 7^th -  FUN NIGHT STARTS FOR THE SUMMER. 5PM-7PM
                   EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME EAT, PLAY GAMES AND HAVE FUN.  POTLUCK SIGN UP WILL BE ON THE SHELF AT CHURCH.

HOMEBOUND COMMUNION VISITS-Pastor Andrew visits our members who are at home or in the hospital so he can administer communion administer communion.  Jeanette Westerhaus has volunteered to assist. The office has a list of names but if we missed someone, please double check with Pastor or Jeanette.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING – If you need a substitute, you are responsible for finding someone and letting Loretta Holmes and the office know.  Please remember to wipe off kitchen counter after hosting fellowship. We appreciate you and thank you!

SERVING LIST: Make sure to check your Friday emails or the bulletin board for your serving date.  They will no longer be posted in the paper bulletins. A link is always available at the top of this email for full year list of serving duties.  We still have empty spots to fill in the summer.  The list to write in your name is on the shelf.  Just write in red so we know it is a new addition.

NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN SANCTUARY   Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary - let's keep our new carpet looking new.

WE CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!  What’s important to you is important to us.  Requests are handled with the utmost sincerity and respect.  A Sunday morning prayer sheet is on the sign up counter.
