WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN CHURCH!  SUNDAY WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION AT 10:00AM!
Our Sunday mornings start with Faith Forum at 9:00AM in Fellowship Hall for the summer.  Adults & kids are welcome!  Coffee fellowship & refreshments follow our 10:00 Sunday Morning service.  Watch the bulletin for information, meetings and events.  Reach Pastor Andrew’s cell for pastoral emergency (316) 351-8766. IT IS PENTECOST SUNDAY  Lutherans wear red to symbolize the "tongues of fire" that the Holy Spirit appeared in when descending upon the disciples.  Red represents passionate fire and zeal of the Holy Spirit.  Red honors the sacrifices of the early apostles.  This vibrant hue is also used during the ordination of pastors and on Reformation Sunday.

THE MAY BOOK/ART SALE We still have books! Come pick out some books for your summer reading.  We have a table set up in the Fellowship Hall. Contact is Vicki Nunn (316) 461-2710.

WEEKLY PRAYERS are being offered for a variety of professions. This week we focus on prayers for llifeguards this summer.

JUNE 7th – ANNUAL CONGREGATION MEETING PART II
Please stay after Sunday worship for this meeting which will cover committee year end reports & conclusion of the 2025 financial audit.

FUN NIGHT FOR EVERYONE ON THE 1ST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH BEGINS JUNE 7TH.  It will be a themed potluck followed by fun games. 5-7pm. Bring your friends for fun & fellowship on Sunday nights.  June 7th we are having Mexican food!  Sign up!

LUTHER 101 - This hour long class will start Sunday June 14th from 6-7pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend and learn about the catechism.  This is a foundation class on The Catechism and Lutheran theology so all confirmation students are expected to participate if they want to be confirmed at RLC by Pastor Andrew.  Every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month.  June 14- Aug 16.

MAY 27th  - WEDNESDAYS WE ARE WATCHING “THE CHOSEN”  - Sign up for potluck
Starting with potluck at 6pm. Program starts at 6:30pm.  The series chronicles the life and ministry of Jesus, focusing on his interactions with people in 1st century Galilee and Judea. Award winning production so come join us!  Invite a friend.  Prayer service follows.  The public is welcome so bring a friend or invite someone to come.

JUNE 14th - LUTHER 101 begins!  This will be held every Sunday evening except the first Sunday of the month.

JULY 4th PARADE - RLC would like to participate this year but we need someone to head it up.  Barry Schroeder has offered his trailer but we need a contact & participants.  Anyone interested?

HOMEBOUND COMMUNION VISITS-Pastor Andrew visits our members who are at home or in the hospital so he can administer communion administer communion.  Jeanette Westerhaus has volunteered to assist. The office has a list of names but if we missed someone, please double check with Pastor or Jeanette.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING – If you need a substitute, you are responsible for finding someone and letting Loretta Holmes and the office know.  Please remember to wipe off kitchen counter after hosting fellowship. We appreciate you and thank you!

SERVING LIST: Make sure to check your Friday emails or the bulletin board for your serving date.  They will no longer be posted in the paper bulletins. A link is always available at the top of this email for full year list of serving duties.  We still have empty spots to fill in the summer.  The list to write in your name is on the shelf.  Just write in red so we know it is an new addition.

NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN SANCTUARY   Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary - let's keep our new carpet looking new.
