WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN CHURCH!  SUNDAY WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION AT 10:00AM!
Our Sunday mornings start with Faith Forum at 9:00AM in Fellowship Hall for the summer.  Adults & kids are welcome!  Coffee fellowship & refreshments follow our 10:00 Sunday Morning service.  Watch the bulletin for information, meetings and events.  Reach Pastor Andrew’s cell for pastoral emergency (316)351-8766. JUNE 7th – ANNUAL CONGREGATION MEETING PART II
Annual Packet for June 7, 2026 is on the FH shelf for you to take so you can review & have at the meeting.
Please stay after Sunday worship for this meeting which will cover committee year end reports & conclusion of the 2025 financial audit.

FUN NIGHT FOR EVERYONE ON THE 1ST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH BEGINS JUNE 7TH.  It will be a themed potluck followed by fun games. 5-7pm. Bring your friends for fun & fellowship on Sunday nights.  June 7th we are having Mexican food!  Sign up!

WEEKLY PRAYERS are being offered for a variety of professions & events.  This week we focus on prayers for Veterans of WWII.  While all U.S. military operations used D-Day, June 6, 1944—the Allied invasion of Normandy—was the most famous and widely reported in history, causing the name to become permanently associated with that single historic event.
The "D" in D-Day simply stands for "day." In military terminology, it is a coded designation used to represent the unannounced or shifting start date of a major operation. Therefore, D-Day essentially means "Day-Day". 

BEER & THEOLOGY 6-8pm on the 3rd Monday of month at The Depot.
Join the fun at The Depot in Wichita at 6-8pm for challenging theology.  Have a beer and bring your questions & curiosity!

LUNCH WITH PASTOR is at noon on the first Tuesday of the month. Stay tuned to announcements & your Friday email for the place.

LUTHER 101 - This hour long class will start Sunday June 14th from 6-7pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend and learn about the catechism.  This is a foundation class on The Catechism and Lutheran theology so all confirmation students are expected to participate if they want to be confirmed at RLC by Pastor Andrew.  Every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month.  June 14- Aug 16.

JUNE 10th  - WEDNESDAYS WE ARE WATCHING “THE CHOSEN”   - Sign up for potluck-
Starting with potluck at 6pm. Program starts at 6:30pm.  The series chronicles the life and ministry of Jesus, focusing on his interactions with people in 1st century Galilee and Judea. Award winning production so come join us!  Invite a friend.  Prayer service follows.  The public is welcome so bring a friend or invite someone to come.

DERBY BIBLE STUDY DAY HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 1st & 3rd TUESDAY!
Starting Tuesday June 16th at 6:30-8pm, join us at the Derby Library for Bible Study with Pastor Andrew.  No longer doing Thursdays.

PASTOR WILL BE ON VACATION JUNE 22nd - 28th.  We will not have Wednesday evening activities on June 24th and we will not have Luther 101 session on Sunday June 28th.
This is a good time to remind everyone that Pastor Andrew has his Sabbath day off on Thursdays. Contact the church office (316)522-1091 from 9-1 or leave a message.

HOMEBOUND COMMUNION VISITS-Pastor Andrew visits our members who are at home or in the hospital so he can administer communion administer communion.  Jeanette Westerhaus has volunteered to assist. The office has a list of names but if we missed someone, please double check with Pastor or Jeanette.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING – If you need a substitute, you are responsible for finding someone and letting Loretta Holmes and the office know.  Please remember to wipe off kitchen counter after hosting fellowship. We appreciate you and thank you!

SERVING LIST: Make sure to check your Friday emails or the bulletin board for your serving date.  They will no longer be posted in the paper bulletins. A link is always available at the top of this email for full year list of serving duties.  We still have empty spots to fill in the summer.  The list to write in your name is on the shelf.  Just write in red so we know it is an new addition.

NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN SANCTUARY   Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary - let's keep our new carpet looking new.
