WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN CHURCH!  SUNDAY WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION AT 10:00AM!

Our Sunday mornings start with Faith Forum at 9:00AM in Fellowship Hall for the summer.  Adults & kids are welcome! Coffee fellowship & refreshments follow our 10:00 Sunday Morning service.  Watch the bulletin for information, meetings and events.  Reach Pastor Andrew’s cell for pastoral emergency (316)351-8766. Church Office:  (316)522-1091.  Office hours are M-F 9am - 1pm. Pastor Andrew has his Sabbath day off on Thursdays, please contact the church office and leave a message.

LUTHERAN 101 JULY 19th   LET PASTOR KNOW YOU PLAN TO ATTEND FOR PRINTED MATERIALS - RSVP please!

LUTHERAN 101 - Sunday evenings from 6-7pm except the first Sunday of the month.
Everyone is welcome to attend and learn about the catechism.  This is a foundation class on The Catechism and Lutheran theology so all confirmation students are expected to participate if they want to be confirmed at RLC by Pastor Andrew.  Every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month.  June 14- Aug 16.

WEEKLY PRAYERS are offered for a variety of reasons.  Lord, guide us as we pray for those with disabilities to help us honor them and to lift them up as we would all your children.

READ YOUR EMAIL – Sent July 15th.  Important Information if you wish to volunteer around youth at RLC.

TODAY is the 3^rd SUNDAY OF THE MONTH JULY 19^th.
PASTOR HAS A SHORT TRAINING DIRECTLY AFTER SERVICE FOR PEOPLE SIGNED UP FOR AUGUST LECTOR, SACRISTAN,  ACOLYTE, CRUCIFER, USHERS, & GREETERS.  THE LAST SUNDAY, THERE WILL BE A REFRESHER IF NEEDED next Sunday.  Sunday services are videotaped so folks need to know what is expected for Sunday services, just a reminder.

JULY 20^th BEER & THEOLOGY at The Depot in Wichita.  6-8pm.  Come join an evening of challenge & curiosity!

DERBY BIBLE STUDY DAY is on the 1^st & 3^rd TUESDAY! Join us at the Derby Library for Bible Study with Pastor Andrew. July 21^st 6:30-8pm.

July 26^th is Ochi’s last day with RLC.  He has been our pianist on Sundays for over 2 years.  Please let him know how we appreciate him and we wish him the best as he goes on to college.

JULY 29^th Pastor’s sister Sarah Falduto will be visiting RLC from Wed thru Sunday.  She is the Connections Director for Orchard Church in Waynesville, NC.  She is coming to train staff & volunteers on our welcome & communication process. Be on the lookout for opportunities to participate & learn.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT is Sunday night Aug. 2^nd from 5-7pm.  It will be a regular potluck so please sign up so we know what you are bringing.  Meat will not be provided by Pam this time so make sure if you don’t see protein on the sign up, maybe that is something you would like to bring.

BULLETINS & ANNOUNCEMENTS – Sunday readings are printed in your announcement-take home booklet. See your monthly serving list assignments on the bulletin board or Friday emails.

LUNCH WITH PASTOR is at noon on the first Tuesday of the month. Next one is AUG 4^th @ NOON.  Location: The Sandbox, 2412 North Rock Road, Derby, KS.

HOMEBOUND COMMUNION VISITS-Pastor Andrew visits our members who are at home or in the hospital so he can administer communion administer communion.  Jeanette Westerhaus has volunteered to assist. The office has a list of names but if we missed someone, please double check with Pastor or Jeanette.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING – Make sure to check your Friday emails or the bulletin board for your serving date.  They will no longer be posted in the paper bulletins unless we have room. A link is always available at the top of this email for full year list of serving duties.  We still have empty spots to fill in the summer.  The list to write in your name is on the shelf.  Just write in red so we know it is an new addition. If you need a substitute, you are responsible for finding someone and letting Loretta Holmes and the office know.  Please remember to wipe off kitchen counter after hosting fellowship. We appreciate you and thank you!

NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN SANCTUARY  Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary - let's keep our new carpet looking new.
