WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN CHURCH!  SUNDAY WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION AT 10:00AM!
Our Sunday mornings start with Faith Forum at 9:00AM in Fellowship Hall for the summer.  Adults & kids are welcome!  Coffee fellowship & refreshments follow our 10:00 Sunday Morning service.  Watch the bulletin for information, meetings and events.  Reach Pastor Andrew’s cell for pastoral emergency (316)351-8766. Church Office:  (316)522-1091.  Office hours are M-F 9am - 1pm . Pastor Andrew has his Sabbath day off on Thursdays, please contact the church office and leave a message.

Sunday evenings from 6-7pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend and learn about the catechism.  This is a foundation class on The Catechism and Lutheran theology so all confirmation students are expected to participate if they want to be confirmed at RLC by Pastor Andrew.  Every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month. June 14- Aug 16.

AUG 16^th SHORT TRAINING FOR SERVERS OF SEPTEMBER  Remember to stay for a short training after service.  FOR LECTOR, SACRISTANS,  ACOLYTE, CRUCIFER, USHERS, & GREETERS.  THE LAST SUNDAY, THERE WILL BE A REFRESHER IF NEEDED.

AUG 17^th MONDAY - BEER & THEOLOGY 3^rd MONDAY OF THE MONTH AT THE DEPOT, 711 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS.  6-8pm.  Bring your questions & your curiosity and have a drink at this popular event!

WEEKLY PRAYERS are offered for a variety of reasons. This week we pray for our students returning to school.  Bless them as they have a great start to the school year.

VOLUNTEERING WITH YOUTH – Please contact Pam for a link to renew your background check so we are compliant with RLC Child Protection policy.

DERBY BIBLE STUDY IS NO LONGER TAKING PLACE IN DERBY.  Changin’ it up!  More info to come soon.

RALLY DAY SEPT 13^th.  GEARING UP FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR WITH A FUN FILLED YEAR FOR OUR YOUTH Sunday Mornings at 9am - 10am before service.  Grades PreK – 12^th.

BULLETINS & ANNOUNCEMENTS – Sunday readings are printed in your announcement-take home booklet. See your monthly serving list assignments on the bulletin board or Friday emails.

HOMEBOUND COMMUNION VISITS-Pastor Andrew visits our members who are at home or in the hospital so he can administer communion administer communion.  Jeanette Westerhaus has volunteered to assist. The office has a list of names but if we missed someone, please double check with Pastor or Jeanette.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING – Make sure to check your Friday emails or the bulletin board for your serving date.  They will no longer be posted in the paper bulletins unless we have room. A link is always available at the top of this email for full year list of serving duties.  We still have empty spots to fill in the summer.  The list to write in your name is on the shelf.  Just write in red so we know it is an new addition.  If you need a substitute, you are responsible for finding someone and letting Loretta Holmes and the office know.  Please remember to wipe off kitchen counter after hosting fellowship. We appreciate you and thank you!

NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN SANCTUARY  Please do not bring food or drinks into the sanctuary - let's keep our new carpet looking new.
