WELCOME TO RESURRECTION LUTHERAN!  IT’S RALLY DAY!

SUNDAY SCHOOL STARTS AT 9AM - WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION AT 10:00AM!
We welcome all who worship with us!  Our Sunday mornings start with Sunday School for kids at 9:00AM.  At the same time, we offer an Adult forum in Fellowship Hall.  Coffee fellowship & refreshments follow our 10:00 Sunday Morning service.  Read your bulletin & Friday emails for announcements.  Reach Pastor Andrew’s cell for pastoral emergencies (316)351-8766. Church Office:  (316)522-1091.  Office hours are M-F 9am - 1pm.  Pastor Andrew has his Sabbath day off on Thursdays, please contact the church office and leave a message.

WEEKLY PRAYERS are offered for a variety of reasons.  This week we pray for all those who are facing cancer.  We ask God for physical healing, inner peace, and daily strength during a difficult journey.

MEMORIAL BRICK – If you would like to order a memorial brick for loved one who has passed, contact the church office.  Cost is $25 for three lines.  Yellow order forms are on Fellowship Hall shelf to fill out and return to the office or Robert Nunn.  Order forms due Sept 27^th.

BULLETINS & ANNOUNCEMENTS – Sunday readings are printed in your announcement-take home booklet. See your monthly serving list assignments on the bulletin board or Friday emails.

ALTAR GUILD MEETING STARTS UP FOR FALL ON OCT 5^th
Altar Guild meets on the first Monday morning of the month at 10:30am.  Join us!  It is a great ministry for our church.

POTLUCK SIGN UP –  WELCOME RUSSIAN FRIENDS TUE SEPT 22 AT 6PM
We will start with potluck at 6pm for RLC congregation as we welcome a Russian Lutheran Bishop & two pastors. At 7pm, other congregations have been invited to come & will join up to meet our visitors.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS TO ATTEND OUR RLC ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST ON OCT 11^th hosted by Property Committee.  This year funds raised will go toward an additional storage shed.  Suggested donation of $5/person or $20/family.  Same date is Pastor Appreciation Sunday.

SANDWICH SATURDAY OCT 24^TH 9:30AM We will gather at the church at 9:30am to assemble 100 PB&J sack lunches.

HOMEBOUND COMMUNION VISITS-Pastor Andrew visits our members who are at home or in the hospital so he can administer communion administer communion.  Jeanette Westerhaus & Linda Johnson have volunteered to assist.  The office has a list of names but if we missed someone, please double check with Pastor.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING – Make sure to check your Friday emails or the bulletin board for your serving date.  They will no longer be posted in the paper bulletins unless we have room. A link is always available at the top of this email for full year list of serving duties.  We still have empty spots to fill in the summer.  The list to write in your name is on the shelf.  Just write in red so we know it is an new addition. If you need a substitute, you are responsible for finding someone and letting Loretta Holmes and the office know.  Please remember to wipe off kitchen counter after hosting fellowship. We appreciate you and thank you!

PHOTOS OF RLC EVENTS & ACTIVITIES It is up to members to take photos of activities and send to church office mail@rxluth.com so we can continue our collection for the history of our church.
