SUNDAY SCHOOL STARTS AT 9AM - WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION AT 10:00AM!
We welcome all who worship with us!  Our Sunday mornings start with Sunday School for kids at 9:00AM.  At the same time, we offer an Adult forum in Fellowship Hall.  Coffee fellowship & refreshments follow our 10:00 Sunday Morning service.  Read your bulletin & Friday emails for announcements.  Reach Pastor Andrew’s cell for pastoral emergencies (316)351-8766. Church Office:  (316)522-1091.  Office hours are M-F 9am - 1pm.  Pastor Andrew has his Sabbath day off on Thursdays, please contact the church office and leave a message.

MEMORIAL BRICK – If you would like to order a memorial brick for loved one who has passed, contact the church office.  Cost is $25 for three lines.  Yellow order forms are on Fellowship Hall shelf to fill out and return to the office or Robert Nunn.  Order forms due TODAY Sept 27^th.

RUSSIAN VISITORS EVENT It was a special treat to meet a Russian Lutheran Bishop & two pastors last Tuesday evening.  They reported that this is the friendliest place!  Other congregations were invited to attend.  Our visitors felt very welcomed and enjoyed dinner & their visit and thank everyone for their hospitality.  They are off to Lake of the Ozarks & St. Louis next.

WEEKLY PRAYERS are offered for a variety of reasons. This week we pray for all who are in positions of authority to act honorably. Remind them of their call to use their authority for the sake of the common good. Give them the gift of humility. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.

🌶️ CHILI COOK-OFF - Haysville Chamber of Commerce – SEPTEMBER 26
Stop by and cheer on RLC members Edwin & Victoria Ramirez who entered their chili entry!  You can sample some great chili on Saturday, September 26, from 5:00–6:30 PM at the Community Building, 130 E. 2nd Street, while enjoying Gathering at the Gazebo and Art Walk in the Historic Park from 4:30 to 8:30.  Bring your family and friends to enjoy the chili, live music, art and food trucks — everyone is welcome!

CROP WALK IS NEXT SUNDAY OCT 4^th at 2pm - So don't forget your peanut butter this week.  Join Barry Schroeder in walking at this event - get registered now! ALTAR GUILD MEETING STARTS UP FOR FALL ON OCT 5^th They meet at 10:30am at RLC.

Altar Guild meets on the first Monday morning of the month.  Join us!  It is a great ministry for our church and we need the help.

PASTOR APPRECIATION SUNDAY OCT 11^th – We celebrate our own Pastor Dr. Andrew Beers and we are so blessed to have him.

SANDWICH SATURDAY OCT 24^TH 9:30AM We will gather at the church at 9:30am to assemble 100 PB&J sack lunches.

HAYSVILLE FALLFEST OCT 23-25^TH AT RIGGS PARK.  We will be asking for helpers to take a shift to man the booth on Sat & Sunday.  Please support.  A sign up will be available soon.

HOMEBOUND COMMUNION VISITS-Pastor Andrew visits our members who are at home or in the hospital so he can administer communion administer communion.  Jeanette Westerhaus & Linda Johnson have volunteered to assist.  The office has a list of names but if we missed someone, please double check with Pastor.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING – Make sure to check your Friday emails or the bulletin board for your serving date.  They will no longer be posted in the paper bulletins unless we have room. A link is always available at the top of this email for full year list of serving duties.  We still have empty spots to fill in the summer.  The list to write in your name is on the shelf.  Just write in red so we know it is an new addition. If you need a substitute, you are responsible for finding someone and letting Loretta Holmes and the office know.  Please remember to wipe off kitchen counter after hosting fellowship. We appreciate you and thank you!
