SUNDAY SCHOOL STARTS AT 9AM - WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION AT 10:00AM!
We welcome all who worship with us!  Our Sunday mornings start with Sunday School for kids at 9:00AM.  At the same time, we offer an Adult forum in Fellowship Hall.  Coffee fellowship & refreshments follow our 10:00 Sunday Morning service.  Read your bulletin & Friday emails for announcements.  Reach Pastor Andrew’s cell for pastoral emergencies (316)351-8766. Church Office:  (316)522-1091.  Office hours are M-F 9am - 1pm.  Pastor Andrew has his Sabbath day off on Thursdays, please contact the church office and leave a message.

WEEKLY PRAYERS are offered for a variety of reasons. This week we pray for our earth and it's eco system.  As we participate in the CROP WALK to stop hunger, we pray for those in harsh climates to get the water & food they need.

ALTAR GUILD MEETING STARTS UP FOR FALL ON MONDAY OCT 5^th They meet at 10:30am at RLC.  We welcome any member of RLC!  Altar Guild meets on the first Monday morning of the month.  Join us!  It is a great ministry for our church and we need the help.

PASTOR APPRECIATION SUNDAY OCT 11^th – We celebrate our own Pastor Dr. Andrew Beers and we are so blessed to have him.

HAYSVILLE FALLFEST OCT 23-25^TH AT RIGGS PARK.  We are asking for helpers to take a shift to man the booth on Sat Oct 24^th & Sunday Oct 25^th.  Please consider helping with a shift or two if you like!  A sign-up sheet is on the shelf. Anyone signed up will get a new RLC t-shirt from the Connections Team!

ALOT OF CANDY IS NEEDED! We are collecting individually wrapped candy for the Haysville Halloween event Trick or Treat on Main Street - Friday Oct 30^th 4-6pm Thank you Advanced Physical Therapy for letting RLC set up in front of their office 260 N. Main #100. Come help us hand it out.  Contact Kim Dietrich if you want to help pass out candy.  Have fun and dress up in costume if you like.

BULLETINS & ANNOUNCEMENTS – Sunday readings are printed in your announcement-take home booklet. See your monthly serving list assignments on the bulletin board or Friday emails.

HOMEBOUND COMMUNION VISITS-Pastor Andrew visits our members who are at home or in the hospital so he can administer communion administer communion.  Jeanette Westerhaus & Linda Johnson have volunteered to assist. The office has a list of names but if we missed someone, please double check with Pastor.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING – Make sure to check your Friday emails or the bulletin board for your serving date.  They will no longer be posted in the paper bulletins unless we have room. A link is always available at the top of this email for full year list of serving duties.  We still have empty spots to fill in the summer.  The list to write in your name is on the shelf.  Just write in red so we know it is an new addition. If you need a substitute, you are responsible for finding someone and letting Loretta Holmes and the office know.  Please remember to wipe off kitchen counter after hosting fellowship. We appreciate you and thank you!

PHOTOS OF RLC EVENTS & ACTIVITIES It is up to members to take photos of activities and send to church office mail@rxluth.com so we can continue our collection for the history of our church.
