SUNDAY SCHOOL STARTS AT 9AM - WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION AT 10:00AM!
We welcome all who worship with us!  Our Sunday mornings start with Sunday School for kids at 9:00AM.  At the same time, we offer an Adult forum in Fellowship Hall.  Coffee fellowship & refreshments follow our 10:00 Sunday Morning service.  Read your bulletin & Friday emails for announcements.  Reach Pastor Andrew’s cell for pastoral emergencies (316)351-8766. Church Office:  (316)522-1091.  Office hours are M-F 9am - 1pm.  Pastor Andrew has his Sabbath day off on Thursdays, please contact the church office and leave a message.

WEEKLY PRAYERS are offered for a variety of reasons. This week we ask our Lord:  May our giving today be an expression of our growing faith in you.  Help us to trust you more deeply, to step out in faith, and to follow where you lead.

THANK YOU FROM PROPERTY COMMITTEE for supporting the annual OKTOBERFEST fundraiser last weekend Oct 11^th. A German style lunch was provided and we had some winners for the silent auction.  This year funds raised go toward additional storage.

HAYSVILLE FALLFEST OCT 23-25^TH AT RIGGS PARK.  We are asking for helpers to take a shift to man the booth on Sat Oct 24^th & Sunday Oct 25^th.  Please consider helping with a shift or two if you like!  A sign-up sheet is on the shelf.  Anyone signed up will get a new RLC t-shirt from the Connections Team!

TAILGATING PARTY!  OCT 25^th at the RLC Parking Lot.  Time: 7:20pm game starts. We are serving hotdogs, chips & water.  Cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs verses Seattle Seahawks.  Flyers on narthex board & your Friday email.  Thank you to the Connections Team for providing an outdoor experience and fun event for RLC.  Bring a chair.  Flyer attached below.

ALOT OF CANDY IS NEEDED! We are collecting individually wrapped candy for the Haysville Halloween event Trick or Treat on Main Street - Friday Oct 30^th 4-6pm Thank you Advanced Physical Therapy for letting RLC set up in front of their office 260 N. Main #100.  Come help us hand it out.  Contact Kim Dietrich if you want to help pass out candy.  Have fun and dress up in costume if you like.

RLC CHURCH COUNCIL will have two positions open for 2027.  If you are interested in helping to make decisions for our church, please consider being part of our council.  Let any council member know your interest for more details.  Their pictures are on the hallway bulletin board under Council section.

FUNDRAISER INTENT FORMS have been placed in church mailboxes and are available on the FH shelf.  If your committee or team would like to get their fundraiser approved by council and on the calendar for 2027, this is the form you need.  A copy of standing fundraisers is included for your convenience. Turn in to the office as soon as you know your dates.  Deadline TBA.

BULLETINS & ANNOUNCEMENTS – Sunday readings are printed in your announcement-take home booklet.  See your monthly serving list assignments on the bulletin board or Friday emails.

HOMEBOUND COMMUNION VISITS-Pastor Andrew visits our members who are at home or in the hospital so he can administer communion administer communion.  Jeanette Westerhaus & Linda Johnson have volunteered to assist.  The office has a list of names but if we missed someone, please double check with Pastor.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING – Make sure to check your Friday emails or the bulletin board for your serving date.  They will no longer be posted in the paper bulletins unless we have room. A link is always available at the top of this email for full year list of serving duties.  We still have empty spots to fill in the summer.  The list to write in your name is on the shelf.  Just write in red so we know it is an new addition. If you need a substitute, you are responsible for finding someone and letting Loretta Holmes and the office know.  Please remember to wipe off kitchen counter after hosting fellowship. We appreciate you and thank you!
